Workers and troops have different jobs
Official material describes zombie workers handling production and an undead army used in combat. It also describes equipping and training troops and building defenses. Read the official overview ↗
These are different planning tasks. A production question starts with the output you need; a combat question starts with the encounter and the preparation it requires.
This is an introduction with planning suggestions. It does not establish resurrection costs, the unlock sequence, worker statistics or a strongest-unit ranking.
Check a stalled work assignment
Planning suggestion: inspect one job before changing several workers or stations at once.
- Confirm the intended output and the workstation responsible for it.
- Read any requirement or restriction displayed for the assignment.
- Check the relevant recipe inputs rather than assuming a worker assignment supplies them.
- Watch what happens after one change and record the result.
For the surrounding production steps, use the factory troubleshooting notes. If you suspect a bug, record your game version and the exact message before consulting official updates.
Separate combat preparation from workshop plans
Planning suggestion: list the encounter you are preparing for, the equipment you intend to use and the supplies you can afford to spend. Keep this separate from materials committed to a Town project.
Do not assume that another player’s troop setup applies to your current unlocks. Check the available options in your game and preserve a record of what worked.
